The clinical expertise available in SHSB is of a substantial value to any client requiring clinical management of dental claims. Additionally, the business complement of the Board of Directors represents extensive experience in the funding, managed care, billing practices and regulatory aspects of healthcare industry.
The Executive Team is led by Dr. Badiredi Tau, who serves as the Managing Director of the Company, responsible for implementing the strategy agreed by the Board and for the day-to-day management and running of the Company.
The clinical complement of the Executive Team consists of senior dentists with extensive experience in clinical dentistry, business, good standing in the dental profession, dental managed care and academic involvement.
Dr. Badiredi Tau
Managing Director
Dr. Badiredi Tau is a healthcare practitioner with 20 years of public and private sector experience. He has vast experience in Medical Aid Governance and Managed Care. He has also previously served on the BODEA executive committee. Dr. Tau holds a dental degree BDS from the University College Cork (Ireland) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetics Dentistry from University of Pretoria (South Africa).
Dr. Themba Mashiane
Operations Director/ Dental Advisor
Dr. Themba Mashiane has a 25-year history in the delivery of healthcare services in the private health environment. His profile includes the establishment and operation of a private dental practice network spanning across three (3) provinces in South Africa. He is a director of a successful import-export entity supplying healthcare equipment and consumables to government facilities. He holds a B.Sc and B.ChD degrees from the Medical University of Southern Africa (South Africa).
Dr. Stan Sanyane
Clinical & Financial Director/ Dental Advisor
Dr. Stan Sanyane has worked in the healthcare industry of RSA for over 25 years and serves as Managing Director of an import-export entity which supplies healthcare equipment and consumables to government facilities. Dr. Sanyane has been in the private clinical service delivery since 1998, with a network of dental practices spanning across three (3) provinces in South Africa. He also serves as a director of a managed care company for medical schemes since 2000. He holds a dental degree B.ChD degree from the Medical University of Southern Africa (South Africa).
